@oneofthesethings:  I was actually just about to go and see someone else’s response and it was gone, lol. Annoying when you put effort in writing a reply and *poof* there it goes.

@MrsPanda99:  people were starting to feel uncomfortable and triggered. I deleted it so that they would not feel those things. I could have just closed it, but again seeing as several people felt it was a trigger and wished it hadn’t been brought up I made sure it was gone for their benefit. Geez I just can’t win!

We fought to have the right to delete or edit our posts.

So i’m not about to start complaining.

I don’t know what post it was, but I find this an annoying new feature of the bee. Everyone getting to delete 3 posts, whether they have 10 or 10,000 posts, leads to new users coming by, posting something heated, and deleting when they don’t like the answers.

@Little_Hedgy:  I didn’t read through all of the comments yet. When you say triggered, do you mean people with eating disorders? Like I said, I hadn’t read through all of the comments yet, so I don’t know if anyone posted mean spirited comments.

@oneofthesethings:  see my post to mrs panda. Sorry it bothered you but I wanted to make sure that people weren’t feeling triggered. When I wrote the post I didn’t even imagine that it would be a trigger. Again I can’t freaking win lol

It sucks people can’t maintain an adult conversation about that particular topic.  Maybe if we could discuss more openly with less judgment one way or the other, we could actually do something about it.  The media sucks.  Undecided

@oneofthesethings:  +1

I swear, this happens to me every other day. I bookmark a thread to read later (after work hours), come home, and boom! Gone.
