Thanks for sharing! I hate these sorts of "tell us your love story" contests because I don't have a very typical relationship and can never win people over. Heh. But it's worth the effort, that's an INCREDIBLE prize!
I know! Its hard to write it down properly. :) I've been working on my entry. But, I think unusual stories are the best ones, don't you? It also looks like they have 3 questions, and only one of them is about how we met... the others are about what we want to include in our wedding and what an "everyday" looks like. Good news is, they don't seem to expect an essay...just a 100 words or less.
No Canadians allowed! We want fancy weddings too Crate and Barrel!!!!

This sounds weird, but I don't even think I'd want a $100k wedding! I'd rather keep my cheapie wedding and just take the cash value of the $100 grand.
Ack, do you know how expensive it is to have a wedding in Manhattan?!! The 100K budget will do quite nicely for me, thank you! :)
So, it looks like the 100K includes a $10K shop card at Crate&Barrel. That's perfect, because I wouldn't feel comfortable registering for big ticket items like a sofa. Now, if I only I could summon my inner Nicholas Sparks and write the best entry ever!!
I mean, have a $100k wedding, or buy HALF OF A HOUSE? No contest. :)

@Dana, just read the rules again, and it says you can't get the cash value if you win -- its either use it or don't use it. For me, our budget was already at $46K and I had to cut about 50 people from our guest list that I really wanted. Now, if I win, I could include them.. which makes me really happy

Ok, so two of my favorite brands of all time ... Crate&Barrel and Daily Candy... are GIVING AWAY a $100,000 wedding. I'm still going through the rules and stuff, but it looks amazing. They have a celebrity wedding planner included!!!! It looks like you have to register with Crate&Barrel to qualify, but that's easy for me -- I registered there 3 months ago!!
I'm trying to figure out how they choose the winner, but it looks like you have to enter by writing about your "meet cute" story.
