ACK. That's why I can't ever take mine off. I have too many brain farts. I do take them off sometimes to lotion my hands but my hands feel so ...light and naked.
Oh no! I'm actually afraid I'll do that a bunch until I get used to it, because my wedding band is light and delicate -- and my e-ring is the one with all the heft.
I wish... but a bit to far for lunch. Ha i do have a tan line, so I have a natural ring. soo never taking it off again.. sigh
My ring is at the jewelers now getting soldered - I have felt so naked this week. I have the tan line too - It's about the only one on my body so it's funny.
I've been really good about remembering to put them back on after I take a shower (I'm terrified one of the stones will just pop out and slide down the drain), but DH is HORRIBLE about forgetting. He insists on taking it off everytime he washes his hands. We were over at my parents a few weeks ago, and after we left my sister called and said, is this yall's way of saying yall are getting a divorce. I was like, what?? DH had left his wedding ring on the sink of the bathroom. He was beyond embarrassed, and I was irritated. I'm waiting for the day he leaves it sitting in a public bathroom.
I feel sad when I forget my e-ring. I kind of feel guilty too. I have only forgotten my e-ring a handful of times, but I always call up my fiance to apologize. He thinks I'm being silly for apologizing. I truly do miss my ring when it's not on my finger.
Haha, I forget mine all the time, its ridiculous! This is one of the MANY reasons I didn't want a multiple thousand dollar ring...
Eek! I would also feel naked without mine! My husband has forgotten his every once in a while and he gets so upset! I think it's cute that we all feel so guilty and naked without them!
@Piccateer OMG mine is the same way. He takes it off to wash his hands, to shower, to work out...anything And theirs doesnt even sparkle! LOL
It's funny how quickly you get used to it, isn't it! I don't like it when I forget mine, usually it only happens when I run out to the grocery or something quick.
My FI saw my tan line the other day when I was doing some yard work and he got all excited. it was cute. :)
I took my rings off this weekend (while building a deck at my sister's house) and forgot them at her house! Luckily, they were in the same exact (safe) place I left them! See, this is why I don't take mine off very often!
