Weddingbee boards

I hope I posted this in the right place. I am not waiting and I don't think my daughter was/is, but I am very excited for her :-)

Apparently, our wedding inspired my daughter's boyfriend to propose to her :-)

He just called me to ask me my permission. I didn't even let him get the words out before I said YES!!! YES!!! YES!!! The poor guy was stuttering his little heart out to get out the words. It was so sweet and thoughtful of him to even ask me. I am so happy that he wants to be a permanent part of our family.

Now all I need to do is wait until he asks her, which he is doing tonight. And she better say yes, or I will have to kick her hiney :-)

I am so happy for her that I am crying happy tears for her. I hope she lets me help her with the wedding. I would be so honored, and it is my vow, as her "mommy" <---- she still calls me that, to not meddle and let her have her own vision of what her wedding should be. I really do hope that she wants my help though :-)

I just had to share with someone. I can't really call her and get excited about it yet because she doesn't know about it yet :-/

@MsPanda: I will definately do that, but she probably won't want me to know who she is; just in case she wants to rant about me :-)

@mcnetn3: I will. I hope her BF doesn't chicken out. He said he already had the ring, so he is good to go.

@melisslp: I sure will. I can hardly wait until I can talk to her about it. I hope she calls me right away; at least within the next day or two :-)

We are very close too, so it is probably a good thing that we don't live in the same state. It seems like we can read each other's minds. I want to call her right now, so bad, it is killing me, but I know I have to wait, until she calls me :-/
