I’m confused, do you want help getting it out of the sink? If so, do not run water. Look under your sink and you’ll see a pipe that looks like a U. The bottom of the U part unscrews. Put a bucket under the pipe and unscrew the U part and your ring should be there.

Whew! For a second there I was going to say tear the sink, plumbing, and cabinets out and get that sucker out. Obviously I subscribe to the hulk-methodology of recovering jewelry. 😉 GORGEOUS ring! You must be so excited!

My jaw dropped reading the title. Yay for new ring! But don’t you want your old ring back too?

OP, you should amend your title since you don’t need a solution on how to get it out and you a good outcome.

@bride_to_b_2014:  wait…What? I’m confused…what do the reasons why you chose a mossanite have to do with a ring going down the drain…

@mstellah:  I think because she said now they decided to get the ring before their wedding. If she still had the old one she was going to wait I think? Not sure though!

Anyways, OP beautiful ring!

I’m glad you got a new ring that you like even more, but I’d still try to rescue the original ring…

Yeah, to be honest you should try to get the ring out anyway. You don’t want it to clog/damage the pipes!
