Perhaps you should stop being careless? Not being snarky at all. But understand that engagement rings are very expensive, so it’s understandable why your Fiance would be get upset.
But I’m not one to point out a problem without offering a resolution….so try to “retrace” your steps, try to remember the very last time you had your ring on and go from there. If you’re having trouble recalling this, maybe start with the most common places you may misplace your ring? Best of luck to you!

Well you know it’s in the house right? So take a deep breath, maybe take a 20 minute break from looking, and then start the search again — looking everywhere all over again even if you think you’ve looked there before. FI’s anger is a little justified, but it would be nice of him to help.
If you don’t have ring insurance, GET IT as soon as you find your ring.

Do you have pets that might have eaten the ring? Do you know someone who works on cars and has one of those magnets on a stick that you can try sweeping in small areas where you can’t see?
I try to have only one place in the house where I take off my ring and put it so I never forget where it is.

Sit down. Relax. Breathe. Now close your eyes and picture everything you did. Stop stressing out because the more you do the more you will freak out and not be able to concentrate. When you find your ring, and you will, get insurance and a little ring holder so this will not happen again.

Wow, you both must be a mes right now. One time, a ring I had slipped off my finger, this may have happened to you. Check the floors, under sofas, under tables. EVERYWHERE
When I lose anything, I just start in one room and check EVERYTHING in it, even it it “couldn’t have ended up there”. Once you clear the room, go on to the next. Good luck, and don’t forget to get ring insurance!!!

Oh no!!! I am pretty forgetful as well. I’m not sure how practical this advice is, but it always seems to work for me. I can never find what I’m looking for when I’m looking for it – it’s when I start looking for something ELSE that I find the thing I was originally looking for. You could try looking for something else you’ve lost recently and maybe the ring will turn up!

under the couch or under anything? between the seats? under a rug? …. omg what a bad feeling im sure, keep looking its got to be somewhere
…whenever i take my ring off i put it back in the box or way in the corner of the bathroom counter very far away from the sink, maybe you should think of only one place to put it when you take it off??

take a deep breath.
if you didn´t leave your house then the ring has to be there. check the sink; check the tub; check under the covers….check behind your night stand, your drawers; maybe underneath the furniture…in the mean time, try to make peace with your Fiance and yourself. Everyone can misplace something. he has to understand you didn´t mean to hurt him by TEMPORARILY MISPLACING THE RING. and when you find it; ¨cause you will…put your ring´s box on your bag or your nightstand and don´t put it anywhere but inside that box.
Try connecting with your ring and call it back to you. It´s got your energy in it. You´ll find it. it´s just a matter of how fast you manage to do it.

@Future Mrs K: I agree. Any time my ring isn’t on my finger, it’s in the box on my bedside table. Even if I’m in the kitchen and take it off, I walk it to the box in the bedroom. It saves a lot of headache because I ALWAYS know where it is. Once you find it, you should think about implementing a similar ‘system’.
Have you checked pockets of clothing? Maybe you took it off and put it in your pocket? At least you know it’s somehwere in your house, so that’s good!!

The good news is, it was lost in the house, the bad news is, where?
I hope you find the ring, I have thrown one set away and vowed to never lose the new set and so far so good 🙂
