I am so happy for you. Now you can relax on your day and let the DOC get everything done. I hire a full service coordinator just because I want to make sure that I don't have to stress over every little detail on our wedding day. She is awesome and gave me a great deal because she doesn't think I need a full service; just the day of, but she was giving me such a great deal and I needed the peace of mind. It is such a relief. I know you will be so happy on your day to have her.
@bikinihoneymoon: I know I'm lucky! Flowers are a good idea! I gave her something she thinks is way better- a half hour long back and neck message! She loved it.
@shannon1126: I know! When I talked to her about it this evening she said she'd been worried over how stressed I have been over this issue, so when she ran into a great deal for a DOC (and, I mean, a GREAT deal!) she jumped on it! Love her!
@noritake22: You know, when I began this process 17 months ago, I thought that people who hired Coordinators or DOCs were wasting their money. Now? I've been jealous of people who could afford such services for months! I'm really glad you're able to afford a full Coordinator- let her take yoru stress and worries away! :D

@rabbit: I also thought they were a waste, but I am so glad that I budgeted for it. Even though I am doing almost everything myself; lots and lots of DIY, she has been a godsend. Just knowing I can call on her at any time and that she will be totally in charge the day of has already relieved a bunch of stress. I am so glad that I was able to budget her in.

So I Just got the news- My FMIL has hired me a Day-of-Coordinator!! She is officially my favorite person on the whole planet right now! I have been stressing and freaking out over how to get everything done that needs doing on the day of my wedding. We will only have 1 hour to get in, decorate, and set-up for the cocktail and dinner reception. It has been one of my most stress inducing problems. When my FI told me (5 minutes ago) about this development, I call my FMIL right away and told her how much I loved her! Haha! She coming over tonight to has out details.
My DOC is apparently fiesty, has worked at my venue before, and has already thrown herself into decorating ideas and wants to meet me to see my vision! LOVE!
I feel SO lucky that my FMIL is so awesome!
