please, would love to hear your feedback on my baby. She has caused me so many tears and illnesses, but I think it was all worth it today:) this is the stages of my 4 main fittings… My last (4) still has a few more ruffles to get put on one side to stop it looking lopsided.
so the background… I tried on a similar dress to this 8 months ago, but I live in the Middle East so getting this dress or one similar was going to coat a large fortune!!! I cried for days… My dream dress ripped from me!
So next best idea… Get it made from scratch here 🙂 simples…. Ah no… Not do simples…. I have had 7 fittings, slowly with less and less tears, until today’s tears of happiness. I am in love and the pics don’t do it justice!
It’s not laced too tightly as the girl I went with started having contractions while lacing it up for me (false alarm thankfully) and we took these pics of me with a bra on, but the designer placed cups in and we held it tighter and it looks much better there too! Yay!
Next decision, I have an organza sash with an organza and diamonte flower or with a diamontes sash with ivory ribbon tie At the back….
And do I need a hoop/crinoline? What’s the difference? Pros? Cons?
Ooo and, it hey have made me the matching veil with this amazing diamonte sprinkling!!! So in love!!!
Ps please excuse my black bra straps in the first pic… I was so upset I had to be talked into having a pic taken:(
the moral of my story, bd fussy, be picky, be a b@&*h… It’s your day, don’t be afraid to ask for what you want. i called my seamstress in today to point out the small irregularities in the ruffles and she was so scared… My simple small alterations have lead to her pulling the biodiversity apart 5 times… Ooops!!!
Thoughts bees? I’d love to hear them!!!
