Well said! What kind of a role model is she trying to be? I want to know who made it ok to dress that way, and send that sort of image to children/the community?! Disgusting. And people wonder why the world is going to Hell in a handbasket! (Shakes head)
Lol!!! I was like... Okay. What made her look at that outfit and think that would be a good idea? It's not cute at all.
I didn't see her perform but at the countdown when she was dancing around like a fool we all were like WHOA? Is she supposed to be wearing something over that glitter manstrosity?
sorry, jlo, didn't do it for me either.
When she came out, the first thing that popped into my head was, "Is that a coat made of hair?"
Lmao ...you all are hilarious...I don't really care for J-hoe at all.
LOL, I didn't see it but I'm loving the descriptions! "Coat made of hair?" :)
oh j-lo, i have to admit that i usually am a fan of hers, but seriously? what was she (& her ba-zillion stylists) thinking? keep it classy please!
I didn't see it either, but now i'm thinking i missed something big!!!!
I just watched the ball drop, so this is cracking me up! I can't stand her either!
ETA: WOW!!! that outfit sure is something.
Wow... just... wow. Whatever happened to leaving a little somethin' somethin' to the imagination?
I see the pic now! that is HORRIBLE!!!! It looks like it needs to go under something, or just in the garbage! I'm scared we are going to see some camel toe and a massive wedgie.
I'm not the biggest fan of J Lo but she did it for publicity apparently...it was a bit much for this newer image she has now...she has been more of the mom and wife type figure for the last few years and that fit her better then attempting to make a fashion statment that failed...
OMG, that outfit was gross! When she started doing kicks after midnight during "New York, New York", she looked terrible. Like I realize she was trying to make a statement, but that certainly wasn't flattering.
I am retching over here....yuck yuck yuck!!!! YUCK!!! First of all....a freakin jumpsuit! EW! Really? A jumpsuit? What were they thinking? now, wearing a skirt over some tights like that...ok. fine. or a tasteful shirt with the top part underneath...again ok. but that....ISH!!! Seriously J. Lo. Fail in all areas!
You really have to wonder what went through her head when she was zipped into this outfit, looked herself in the mirror and deemed herself stage-worthy. *gag*
I thought she looked great! And certainly a lot more comfortable than girls who go on stage in those tiny tiny dresses that look like they can barely move (Black Eyed Peas, I felt so sorry for her). I wish it was acceptable for female celeberties to wear pants...
Not sure what's the big deal with kids, kids aren't supposed to know what human bodies look like? There's a lot more suggestive stuff IMO on advertisment all over the place, sexual suggestive not just human body form.
Only J-Lo can get away with wearing full body sparkly panty hose... not her best look though.
I'm neutral about her but what I found interesting was the lighting. There was barely any at all! I couldn't help to think she requested that due to the outfit she was wearing. OH, and she wasn't 'in sync' with the lip syncing.
At least it is a darker color unlike the one Britney Spears wore while she was crawling all over the stage at the MTV Awards or something years ago.
FI just said "she doesn't look that bad. I like it."
I can't tell if he is serious.
All I can say is I hope my body looks that good after having babies, and shoot, she had twins!
Everyone at the party we were at totally made fun of her. Fi just said, "at least if you are gonna wear a bodystocking, you should be on ice."
Not cute.
@Lillindy- GOOD POINT! you've got to give her that ladies!
I mean, for me, it's not that her body isn't great. It is--girl has twins, too, so more power to her. I just thought it was sort of a tasteless look. It just came off kind of icky rather than sexy or stylish.
Her body is great but it didn't look great in that outfit... she looked like a ham in the oven, I thought.
Ew ew ew. When FI and I watched the show last night, it was like watching a car wreck last night. We didn't want to look at her but couldn't look away. The body suit just pulls in an inapproriate place...
Perhaps she was trying to push a fashion envelope? Or show that she has a nice body after having children?? Maybe the idea the sparkley things on her outfit would reflect nicely of the light?? Who know...I've thought her and and her stylists have questionable taste.

her outfit is hideous and the illusion that she's naked is disgusting. She can't sing and the rubbong on the male dancers is gross. What about the kids who are staying up to watch the ball drop with their parents? It's awful.
