congrats! we were in France the first 2.5 weeks of Nov and i found the weekend very busy with tourist but even with crowds we still got around to see things and enjoy
happy planning!
@tonights: That's amazing! Congrats! Sounds like a fabulous honeymoon.
I'm also going to Paris for part of my honeymoon (I've been twice, but with female family members so it's different). If you need any advice feel free to message! I've stayed in the Latin Quarter at more budget style hotels that were great, so if you need advice there, too, let me know.
Tripadvisor is a GREAT resource for trip planning.

Yeah, I know Paris will still be crowded - November is a popular time of year, and I think it will be beautiful - but I have been told that tourism is definitely down in the UK at that time of year, so props to that.
I'm thinking we are going to stay in the Marais, and I'd like to book our hotel ASAP, so I'm trying to find a place that is romantic without breaking the bank - I figure we won't be at the hotel TOO much, lol.
i know ive mentioned this on other threads but if i did Paris again i would get a brass lock engraved with our names/date so i can leave it on a bridge outside of the lourve (and another behind Notre Dame) - i'll try to upload a pic..hmmm, cant seem to upload pics
yay! how exciting. Do you mind sharing how much those tickets were?
Where did you book your honeymoon through? I've been looking around and my FI and I would like to go to Europe - specifically London and Ireland, but we've looked at a deal similar to the one you've posted about and it looks amazing!
While in Edinburgh, take time to do the tourist trap Edinburgh Castle, so beautiful! Walk Princes Street down to Holyrood and check out the veiws from Salisbury Craigs!

I am SO excited! We will be going the first couple of weeks in November, so there won't be quite as many tourists around as there are earlier in the year. I have never been to Europe at all and I am DYING of excitement (and nervousness about the plane flight).
The scary part is that now I realize we have to plan the wedding and this huge trip at the same time! I am beyond overwhelmed, I hope I don't forget anything.
