I just found myself in the most stereotypical Bridal moment EVER! I am writing thank you notes from my work shower, baring on a bridal magazine, keeping up with the Bee, while watching Four Weddings! My sane life has officially faded away until June 23rd!
Have any of you found yourselves in these ridiculous situations?

HA HA!! Been there-done that….daily.
Also, I’ll be right in the middle of a DIY project and suddenly find myself in the bathroom experimenting with my hair asking “How did I get here? Wasn’t I just doing something?”.
For a second there I was trying to picture how you would write thank you notes in the shower…at work .

@idamay: I have that problem all the time!
Two weeks ago I had my veil laying half beaded on the dining room table, the kitchen table covered in table numbers and hand made envelopes and then I found myself trying on my necklace and bracelet I just put the clasp on wondering… how the crap did I get here?

Story of my life.
4 weddings, Say Yes to the Dress, you name it.
I’ve seen every 4 weddings…I’m to the point where I can pick which bride is going to win, and I’m always right. Both of our bathroom counters are covered with bridal magazines. My browsing history is exclusively wedding.
Yep, I too have gone off the deep end.

A few months ago I was out for drinks with friends, and my girlfriend went to reach for my wallet to look at it, and I thought she wanted to see my ring so I instantly shoved out my hand displaying my rock.
We both laughed.
I have to wade through the collection of magazines on my bathroom floor just to go to the washoom.
My PVR is exploding with episodes of Four Weddings and Say Yes To The Dress.
Yup, all bridal.

I’m already married… I still find myself on the Bee, watching 4 Weddings/Say Yes to the Dress, and getting distracted by my sparkly ring on my finger 🙂 haha

I’m in the same boat as everyone else…. but doesn’t it just satrt to make you hate the wedding a little bit? Will it be owrth it? honestly, does the fact that I spent twenty hours makeing table numbers really matter to anyone else?
I’m burnt out after 4 months of planning, and we still have just under three to go, can we make it out of this wedding madness????

@futuremrsbauer: We are definitely in the same boat. We’ll make it!!!!

@futuremrsbauer: I’m in the same boat (and almost the same city haha!). My brother and Future Sister-In-Law are getting married April 2013. She came to visit in March and I gave her ALL my wedding magazines and tried on bridesmaid gowns (since I’m in her wedding) and God bless, it was an amazing time to just relax and realize that I cannot wait for my wedding day to be over LOL. Or not over–but HERE.

I need to get all of my paper crafts (table numbers, place cards, programs) done. That will take a huge stress off of me. And some days, I’m so frazzled by wedding stuff that I can’t concentrate on anything else. Bridal brain = brain feels like mush.

For the entire 8 months of planning I basically sat in front of the TV with all my bridal shows recorded on DVR and a short little vegas style veil on my head, wearing my “bride” tank top and stuffing invites/favors/thank you cards…you name it. And I was a walking telephone book for any vendor, cake baker, linen renter, or DJ within a 60 mile radius. It was a sad, sad time. I miss it now—but all my friends refer to me as their personal wedding planner now & a little bit of a wedding guru;) hehe. I even have a HUGE binder which I lend out only to my VIP friends for SHORT periods of time haha.

Wait, that’d not normal? 😛 Sometimes I get concerned that I spend so much time doing and thinking about wedding stuff that after the wedding I won’t know what to do with myself and will have post-wedding depression.

@Jaquita: I agree. This isnt normal? I’m pretty sure this is a daily thing for me!
