I can't believe it's already here! I actually don't have too much left to do but I am having a destination wedding so all that's left for me is packing and tying up loose ends up here. However, after I get down there is another story. I need to pick my menu, cake, flowers and meet with the DJ. Basically I need to plan the whole thing. But I am hoping the fact that I am on a tropical island will help relax me, LOL.
I know! It's so soon! I've started to get really nervous, actually, which is weird for me (strange dreams of being left at the altar, etc.). We still have to figure out our seating chart, make escort cards, get our marriage license, get gifts for the wedding party & parents, pick our readings, make programs (we may skip this), and I have to get my shoes dyed. And find the right bra, which is turning out to be hard. Aaa! I'm trying to remind myself that these are all FUN, happy details, and I should savor attending to them! :)
I'm actually feeling pretty good. I have some stuff left to do, but I think I have a pretty good handle on most of it. :)
I know! When I think how few weekends I have left between now and then (after this weekend, only 2 more weekends left), it feels really soon.
I've been calm lately. There's really not a ton left to do - mostly finishing up non-essential details (menus, place cards) and making final payments. I have a H&M trial and a final dress fitting scheduled in the next week. We still have to pick our first dance song and finalize the readings - but that stuff's not so hard or stressful.
I'm really looking forward to the time off work after the wedding! We're not going away, but we've been so busy the last 4-5 months that it will feel great to have nothing to do.
@prettyflowers - I'm SO looking forward to the time off. I didn't take a vacation this year b/c of the upcoming events, so I'm PUMPED to finally be leaving!
I'm pretty much ready. I have a few small DIY details to finish up, and then packing everything up to be away from home for 10 days. I'm more stressed about that, because I need to make sure I have enough outfits to cover the time we're in GA for the wedding & then the time we're on our honeymoon cruise w/no access to do laundry! Ahh!
Hey ladies! Have any of you actually sat down and enjoyed all of the feelings you are having?
After dinner last night I sat with my FI and talked about all of the feelings I am having and it was so wonderful! I feel as if I have been on the outside looking in up until now and it is finally sinking in that I am getting married in three weeks!
Congrats to all you September brides!

I'm ready to be married! My bridesmaids are going to start arriving on Thursday, and my MOH was asking what we still needed to get done. Quite honestly, I can't think of anything. I. Am. So. Pumped!!!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! What do you have left to do? Are you stressing or cool as a cucumber? Nervous at all?
I have to finish my pics for my doggie table numbers, finish my display for my escort cards, print/assemble our program, get candles and votives, buy some gifts for readers/soloists, and assemble 'Survivial kits' for my BMs. Whew!
