i posted about my lost e rings a few months ago and stated that my e-ring was stolen by the termite guy and i couldnt do anything to him because i had no proof.
Today i got a call from Detective, who questioned me about my lost e ring which was worth around 15g. He said another report came under the termite guys name, he stole 50000$ worth of jeweleries from the customer house while he was doing termite insepction. So police handed the case over to dectactives and who are working on the case and detective said they will follow him and will go after him. The jeweleries havnt recovered yet and he hasnt pawned yet.
I really hope and wish to have my e ring back. My finger is still empty..:(

@ddsfam: Good luck to you! My great-grandnither’s e-ring was stolen from my home two weeks ago (among other things.) The detective finally called me back about it today and was asking if I’d recently had any work done on my home. Now that I’ve read this I’m so glad I told her I’d had an electrician in less than a week before. Hopefully both our rings will be recovered soon!!!

@ddsfam: Aww 🙁 I’m sorry for the loss of your e-ring!
I’ve heard so many sketchy stories about repair people taking valuables. Happened to my grandma as well, and she cried and cried because the ring was more sentimental than anything else. Some people can be so greedy and cruel.

I hope it was insured! My mom had her ring stolen years ago from a phony air conditioning repairman who went through the neighborhoo, but she used the insurance money to upgrade so it wasn’t as bad as it could have been.
