Aww so cute!
Have you tried putting a clock in his bed? I've heard that makes puppies feel better.
How freakin cute! I LOVE dogs!!! It'll be a good practice baby for yall!! :)
aww oh my goodness, he is so cute=) have fun with him!!!
Awww.... so cute!! Love the name... Winston! Cute!
awww! i second the clock suggestion, and also suggest sticking a waterbottle in his crate and, if possible, putting his crate in your room where he can see you. puppies are A LOT of trouble, but usually the crying at night at least stops in just a few days :)
what a cutie! good luck.
He's adorable! I LOVE puppies. I would suggest putting a towel over the crate to kind of create a smaller space for him. Sometimes the large room size can be overwhelming for puppies.
Thanks for the clock suggestion! He's got a water bottle in his crate right now -- it's the kind that hangs off of gerbil cages. After a few water bowl spills in the crate, it seemed like the best solution and he's got the hang of it. I think tonight I'm going to try a walk and a game of fetch before bed -- maybe if we tucker him out, he'll sleep through the night?
haha no cupcakespringkles, i meant like a hot water bottle. fill it with warm warm so it feels like he's cuddled up with his littermates. :) he's so precious!
Oh my goodness he is absolutely adorable! Spaniels are my favorite - it's one place Cam and I disagree vastly ... he wants a German Sheppard. Maybe these pictures could change his mind?
Just look at him! He's so adorable!
Definitely tire him out! Has he had any "accidents" in his crate? If so, make it smaller. They won't have an accident where they sleep if they can help it. If the crate is too big, he'll pee or poop on one side, then sleep on the other side. Once he starts to get better, you can start to make it bigger for him to give him more room to stretch out.
What a cutie!!! I hope he starts sleeping through the night! I lucked out with my puppy. She slept through the night (no crying OR potty breaks). I'm sure he'll come to love you two very quickly!
He's the cutest thing!! Omg, how precious. I want a puppy sooooo bad. We have to wait until we have more time and space though. He'll get used to the new environment once he realizes all the love and attention he gets!
Aw, he is adorable! More pictures, please. :)
Another thing they love is heated beds and/or pads. I have one for my cat that she just loves. You plug it in, but it only turns on when their weight is on it.
oh my goodness is he a little cutie!!!!!!!!!!!!!! congrats on your new addition :)
He's sooooooooooooooo cute!!!! Just don't give into the crying, or you will never hear the end of it lol ;) Congrats!!
Awww that last picture just about melted my heart! So cute!!!
My sister raises Cavaliers. They really are snuggly sweethearts, but are also very active and want to do everything with you! You are so lucky!
Take lots of pictures!
You just adopted my dream dog! Awww, he's so adorable. Still convincing FH that we need to get a King Charles....
Congrats!!!! We just did too! Yours is soooo adorable! I could never leave him to go to work!!

And I have to share!! His name is Winston and he's a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. He's our "practice baby" to train us for a real baby someday :) And we got plenty of practice last night, since he cried allllllll night. I think he misses his brother and sister :( But we love him lots and lots!! Here he is ...
