Weddingbee boards

Most of my journey planning before my dad's illness was diagnosed as terminal was spent looking for the perfect dress. I wanted something sexy and sassy and I wanted it for a great price.  Unfortunately I wasn't able to try on very many dresses that fit the qualifications in my size.  I ended up with a used dress and ultimately I loved it!!!!  Here are some pro pictures of me about to walk down the aisle.  I wore my veil slightly off center at the last moment I decided I wanted to be a diva lol...  I love the vintage vignette that wearing it off center provided....  Remember that no matter how you feel in the store, you will end up as the most beautiful woman that your husband has ever seen. I know because that's what my husband said :o)

At this moment I am staring taking everything in.  They said I said: "OMG it's sooo pretty" in between my tears...

At this moment I am realizing: OMG we need to walk. I told my stepdad: I think we should be walking now and then burst into laughter"

Yet another ugly cry face lol!!!!

I have no idea what I was laughing at, but I do know that this is a shot that conveys my emotions. I literally cried and laughed my entire way down the aisle.  Heidi (my new little girl) said it was the best part of the wedding.

In the end my beautiful bride face made my husband's face do this... Notice that his eyes are tearing up I love this picture of him.

@HoneyBear: So did I (AGAIN!!)  I cannot believe that I had very little emotion the entire day until it was time for me to walk down the aisle!!! It was insane!!!!

@Future Mrs. Martin: Thanks girlie!! I still can't believe that the wedding is over. And everything is just as it was before with no stress. I mean we have the most perfect life ever.  Now we are just saving and paying off bills so that we can purchase our first home...

@Miss Tattoo: Thanks girlie!! I can't wait to see more pictures. I broke our laptop and honestly just so happened to see these because FB isn't alerting me on my BB.

@holyvowels: it is Casablanca 1831 and I actually may be selling it after I get it cleaned..... It is a size 18.

@bride123:I never considered myself as plus sized only a bit chubby, until I started trying on wedding dresses. I actually gave up the search because of the "stigma". I really lucked out on my dress though and I adore it.

@jaxx: honestly I feel like I did when we met, giddy, in love and well horny all the time (tmi but it's the truth)... It's amazing!! Although my husband has mentioned that it is taking me a while to change my name, I tease that we have only been married a week and I need time to ease into it lol!!!!!

@sapphire:I wish I would have been more cognizant of my faces I don't have one normal face the entire time... But I tear up looking at them so I guess that's alright.

@honeybear:I love Krystal!!! She is only 16 and phenomenal, but her age stops her from getting a lot of work because people don't want to trust a teenager with the day of her dreams. She has shot about 3 events with me, mine makes 4 but she is phenomenal and knows what the bride wants. All of the things I put time into I wanted shots of and she went to the venue early to capture it.

Thanks for the compliments everyone!! I had so many reservations about the dress and I ultimately just wanted to be a beautiful bride, not a beautiful plus size bride. In my pictures I see emotions and joy not fat rolls. Although, I see a few flaws it is not as bad as I thought it would be.

@JamaicaBride: yes it was!!!  I had a makeup artist to do the makeup for the bridals she was actually one of the models as well as and man is it gorgeous!! I did the makeup for the wedding....  

@daniellemybelle: Thanks girlie!! We definitely are bringing style, class and sophistication to the brunch weddings, aren't we?  I definitely thought of you during my planning process!!

@posilissa: I agree now but lol I tried on over 50 dresses looking for the right one... I never did get that feeling, even in my own dress.  The only moment I felt that I had it was when I turned to wave at my dad and saw the reflection in the mirror, at that moment I thought "Damn I look good".

I actually changed it on fb today and will be changing it on my accts etc soon... I suppose.  M teases though and says I wanted to be married for so long that he can't believe I am dragging my feet on the name change... I can see it now it will be like 5 years down the line and I haven't changed my name etc...
