@marissal7901:  Do you mean like fireworks that go off in the sky or the sparklers that the guests hold?

I would say fireworks as bubbles may not show up as well in photos.

@marissal7901:  What time of day will be your departure? Do you mean leaving the ceremony (normally throw rice) or send off at the end of the night? I loved the idea of sparklers but we will be leaving when it is still bright out. So we will be doing sparklers for our portraits after sunset and ribbon wands at the end of the ceremony. No send off for the reception.

Lol I was going to say “fireworks, duh” but I see that’s not what you meant.

I’d say sparklers. They look so neat in photos and I just really like them.

i’m going to be a party pooper and channel my mother here – sparklers are dangerous! and at the end of the night everyone will be a bit tipsy if youre serving alcohol and something terrible could happen!

But probably nothing terrible would happen and it would make for lovely photos…

and…. party pooper wave 2 – Be sure to scuff up the bottoms of your shoes with sandpaper if you do bubbles – you wouldn’t want to slip!

Sparklers every time. In fact I had REAL fireworks but then I do pyrotechnics in my spare time so I am notoriously reckless when it comes to explosives. Sparklers, in my opinion, are less dangerous than lighted matches and always look good in pictures.

The problem with bubbles (friends had a bubble exit from their ceremony) is that you need one helluva lot to make any sort of impression at all. So you do need proper bubble machine.
