Water and condensation from glasses show up on chiffon! Especially when the flash of camera is present! So at the reception watch the drips!

You are also supposed to hold the flowers so the top of the bouquet is around your belly button. I always tried to remember this when I was a Bridesmaid or Best Man, yet in my own wedding, I held them up much higher and it looked stupid!

I’m totally guilty of holding my flowers up way too high, even after being reminded not to:

Another little PSA? When you’re having a rush alterations job done because your dress is way too freakin’ big around the chest, make sure you have time built in in case your seamstress finishes the dress and it’s still way too freakin’ big, or your shoulders will be up at your ears all day as you try to keep from having a wardrobe malfunction in a Catholic church. Yup.

Alternatively, make sure you hang onto the optional straps that come with your dress…
