Please help! My fiance and I have been searching for weeks for a reasonably priced nice wedding venue ($150-$165 incuding taxes and fees or less). We are probably going to have around 150 or so guests attend. We have already looked at so many places, but everything seems to be so expensive so we need your help! We are looking for something more vintage/rustic or old school classic (not modern looking) but elegant if that makes sense. I love the idea of a barn, but we haven’t been able to find many in the area. Cermony will be off site. Things important to us: FOOD, ALCOHOL, PHOTO opportunities.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

What part of the state are you looking in? We were able to find a good number of venues, well below that budget, in Sussex County.
Perona Faqrms in Andover has a recently rennovated barn. We went and looked at their interior space and were not wowwed, but apparently the barn is nice and perhaps worth checking out. I know nothing of the food quality there.
We are getting married at the Farmstead Golf Club in Lafayette, and they can certainly accommodate that budget, but I’m not sure if they can hold 150.It’s a converted barn/carriage house, a bit rustic, and bit traditional (there is an antique carriage in the reception space which may not float your boat. I am either going to pretend it’s not there or cover it with something.
My sister was married at Lake Valhalla in Montville, which you may like… it has wood floors, huge fireplaces. Their ceremony was outside in front of the lake…very pretty. It was a Saturday afternoon wedding in October and I believe within your budget. Not sure what a saturday night would cost.
