Stay far away from "0nce upon a cupcakeand all things sweet in Sherwood park " Bad vendor. Is not certified to bake, I checked withAlberta healtbordered. She doesn't deliver all that she promises, and when caught she blames it on innocent people. My friends wedding will now forever have this memory!

I was going to use Once Upon A Cupcake & All Things Sweet.  She cancelled our meeting and never did email or call me back to set up another time.  I read this post after and am glad she never did call back!

I'm so glad I did some research before I actually gave her money. On her Facebook page she says that she is getting bad reviews because people are mistaken her for the company in west Ed, that is so far from the truth. She doesn't not return calls or emails, her cupcakes maybe cheap but are less than great. And from everyone I talked to they say stay far far away.

This is amajor BUYER BEWARE! I have heard from numerous friends to stay far away from her as a vendor for many reasons, including running off with deposits, half of order not showing up at event, or showing up hours late, but thought I would give her the benefit of the doubt. UNTIL I did some research and found this page, but also found out her name. So I decided to do some Facebook research, low and behold, although she does not list her last name on Facebook I find her and go to her personal page, only to see apicture of her kitcheN with her kids in it. Remember she is home based out of Sherwood park county. To my absolute HORROR I see open plumbing, dirty floors and counters, no cupboards by the sink drains. I'm am thoroughly disgusted, and will be contacting the health board in the morning. 

@Taytay:  you hear of renovations before?...and second i  dont bake in my home? 3rd my facebook profile is private...ive never not showed up at an event or ran away with a deposit...if this were the case why wouldnt they sue me...because i would and i have NEVER been late butv thank you i obviously wouldnt want you as a customer since you seem to assume things and judge p.s please contact the health board i have my food handling permit...so go for it!
