So…I had my entire ensemble ready for the big day, minus one item…earrings, right?
FI hasn’t been huge in helping me plan the wedding, but he has tried here and there. We were out shopping this weekend and I asked for his help in finding a pair of earrings to go with (he has no clue what the rest of my dress etc looks like, but I had shown him pictures of earrings I liked on etsy so he had na idea of what look i was going for).
He found these beautiful simple small dangle earrings that have a slight vintage look to them. I had originally pictured a crystal stud (in a floral type shape but these were beautiful and didn’t dangle to much.
Bought them…came home and put them on with my sparkly headband.
granted, I know that each side of our bodies are different, but It was very obvious to me that my ears are two totally different levels on my head LMBO!
My question is, how big of a deal is this? Has anyone else noticed this about themselves and do you think this is something that will show up in pictures?
I plan to wear my hair up, crystal headband in, so ears will be showing. On a daily basis I wear my hair down (except when I workout) so I think thats why I never noticed how different they really are. Should I consider wearing my hair down now to cover this? I know its ridiculous and who cares, …its kinda making me lol but its freaking me out a little lol

I bet no one will notice other than you!

I think it’s fairly common to have ears at different heights. I know that’s why glasses frequently have to be heated and adjusted to sit level on your face.
I also don’t think anyone but you or your FI will notice.

I have one ear that sticks out more than the other! It has never really bothered me though, and it didn’t stop me from having an updo for my wedding. I didn’t notice my ears in any of my pictures because I don’t think any of the pictures were straight on. I say go for it!

ok, thanks bees 🙂 I’m still not sure I can go through with it, I think it must be the size of the earrings, because I’ve worn longer chandelier type before and never noticed it, also worn hoops of all sizes, but on a day to day basis i wear studs. I’m just really shocked at how different they look because the dangle of the earrings is only 1.5″ maybe? So Im thinking they make it look worse because they hang down and are so small. I really want to wear them though because he picked them out (and in the grand scheme of all wedding things that feels huge right now lol)

No one else will notice! FH’s ears are at different heights, and sometimes it’s very apparent (to us) but it’s one of his cute quirks I love about him! Unless you tell someone, they would never notice. My chin is also uneven, but it’s just one of those things you ignore

Yep, I have that too. I was told by the eyeglasses-adjuster-person that it is normal. Sort of like having different sized breasts.

Yep my ears are also uneven. I can’t wear studs because it’s very obvious that they are not level haha.

My ears are exactly the same and no one has ever noticed until I point it out. So my advice is say nothing and no one will even notice:)
