That’s hard!!! I love Japan, but Iceland is amazing! I’d probably go with Iceland since you’ve never been before!

I would go new. Iceland sounds like so much fun. Is on my list of places to see!

Iceland would be a fun, new adventure, but the local food might be interesting…

Japan would be very nice and a familiar place but less of a new adventure. Both are valid choices!

Haruyou:  ICELAND!!!  Especially since you have been to Japan, do something new.  We went last year and LOVED it so much we are considering going back, and that is saying a lot because we always say there are too many new places to go to the same place twice.  Here’s a recap I did last year:

Haruyou:  I see married life as the start of a new adventure together, so it should be kicked off with a new place to explore and learn together. Definitely go NEW and make new and exciting memories to start your married life off.

I would do Iceland! It’s incredible and like nowhere I’ve been before, I can’t wait to go back! I also love Japan (used to live in Tokyo and its still my favourite city), but there is something so incredible about Iceland you won’t get anywhere else. Also, depending where you are, Iceland may well be a cheaper/shorter flight, and is quite likely fewer time zones away, which is always nice, even if not the deciding factor.

I vote for new. We have the same idea, TTC after the wedding. So we’ve decided to go to Scotland for the honeymoon as we’ve never been. The idea is that it’s a place we’d love to see, and if it were the last major trip we ever went on, we’d be happy. Although you haven’t fully explored Japan, I also agree with PP that you should start your marriage with a new adventure!
