Congrats! I had most stuff done too. It makes everything so much easier. I used the checklist on theknot to make sure I did everything. Relax and enjoy.
I'd definitely make a very detailed checklist for the day of. I was just like you until the day before the wedding. Then my mind went blank and I forgot a lot of things on the day of.
@pinkpeonies: I made a list of things to bring to the rehearsal, things to bring to the church, and then a list of how I want the reception and cocktail hour rooms set up. I plan on giving that to my coordinator so she knows exactly how I want things.
We're kind of there too. We've got some small-ish stuff left, but it's all stuff that I feel like, "Eh, if it doesn't happen, no one will know."
How exciting! This is how I hope to be. I know some people think I am crazy because I am trying to finish it all up early so I wont be stressed. Do you have a timeline set up for the wedding day?
My mom owns an etsy shop that has unity candles and I know she gets lots of brides that are 2 weeks out that send her a message saying they forgot all about this.
Hope you have it all done and that nothing gets forgotten.
Wow! You are super lucky! I feel like we are just now getting into the thick of everything and we also had a long engagement!
This is what I have left to do, and it might seem like a lot when written out but I really don't feel pressed about getting it done
Bridesmaid gifts, wrap bouquets, Alterations (dress fitting on September 11), Programs (working with Minister), Buy Corset Bra, rent limo (maybe), buy groomsman gifts, bridal shower (tomorrow), bachelorette party (end of September), finalize the menu (waiting for RSVP's), buy sand for sand ceremony...lose 15 pounds (lol!)
Other than that there isn't anything really time consuming left to do. We are having the wedding and reception in very beautiful places so I am not worried about any decorations, and so there isn't any craziness trying to get things done. I am very grateful for this, but like you I am wondering if I have completely forgotten something. I created a day of timeline a long time ago so I could figure out the photography.
I wish I was in your shoes. Wanna help me work on my projects? lol ;-)
Yeah- I'm pretty much done with everything except for the last minute stuff- hair nails etc. It kind of feels really great to be this done!
I was pretty much done a month before my wedding too. I just had to do day before things, like do the centerpieces. I'm a planner, and I always get things done ahead of time. It was nice having that time to relax and just enjoy it!
I'm jealous.....I've had 2 1/2 years to plan and I have a TON of little silly things to do in the next 30+ days.......
I have a running list I keep on my cell phone/email.....I keep adding stuff but haven't really crossed anything off!
I'm three weeks out right now, and the only things we have left to do are buy and put together favors, put together programs, finish last minute dress alterations and my make-up and hair trial runs. We are also moving into our apartment one week beforehand so I'm most stressed about that!
I'm reaching my 2 month mark soon and the only major things I have to do are print ceremony programs, finish making our pomanders, and buy some small stuff here and there. Most of the major things are out the way thankfully.

I have about a month left until the wedding. Most of my weekends are packed with NWR things (baptism, other people's wedding, family stuff, etc). I only have this weekend and next weekend to do WR things. And there's nothing left to do! Seriously the only thing I have is escort cards and the final seating chart but I"m still waiting on 60 RSVPs so I can't exactly start that.
I feel like I'm missing something. Aren't brides usually freaked out in the final weeks? We got engaged 2+ years ago and I've been working on things slowly. I knew I was prepared but I didn' think I was THIS prepared!
What did you work on in the final weeks? Could I be forgetting something?
