I’ve been doing pretty well working out but then I take a couple or 3-4 days off and do nothing so I feel like I lost my progress. I really want to lose 1 pound a week at least and gain some muscle.
I’m planning on doing cardio almost everyday rotating from elliptical and treadmill. I will alternate with upper and lower body weight workouts. I will try to fit in some abs in there and also some pilates whenever possible.
I’m just overwhelmed with work and working out plus all these other wedding details we have to take care of. I know my diet could use some work, but it’s just so hard. What were your plans for the last 30 days before the wedding?

i have about 30 days until my wedding as well. i think the main thing to remember is that you have to be consistent. right now, i work out about 5 days a week – doing cardio for 3 days and strength training the other 2. obviously it’s good to have days off but 3-4 days in a row can just be unmotivating (to me, at least). as far as diet goes, i just try to focus on portion control. at restaurants, i try to eat only half of what they serve me and smaller sizes for meals i make at home. my biggest motivation is seeing the number on the scale go down – which it does when i stick to everything. hopefully i can really focus in these last 30 days and stick to everything. i don’t want to lose 20 lbs or anything, but a little toning and healthy weightloss would be nice! hope things are going well for you!
