I tried on a very similar dress (not sure who makes this dress so I don't know if it was the exact same one), I felt very glamorous but I felt like I was dragging a comforter around. The huge skirt and train does weigh you down. Also, I don't think I was tall enough to pull it off (I'm 5'7", but I don't plan on wearing heels over 2-3").
Too much dress for my taste. I like timeless, elegant dresses and I think a lot of the dresses you posted will look dated later on. Just my opinion though, you should go with what you love
I actually think the dress is really pretty and while not my exact tastes I think it could look beautiful on the right bride. I thought I would also suggest this watters dress cause I remember in one of your other dress posts you were talking about one of the dresses being so expensive. It looks really similar to this dress so you should check it out!

bleh! I hate the color, glad you want white!
Honestly the train on this looks like a beaver tail. Maybe that's just the pinkness making it look like fur, though!
Gosh, I'm just not helpful...sorry Katie >.< I think you need to wear what you want for whatever the hell reason you want. If you want to be shocking and high fashion I think the first 'squid' dress was your best bet. The mermaid you posted was also very striking but again more commonly seen than the first. This one just kind of looks silly. It might be the pink getting to me though...
It makes me think of a giant bird, it's not my style, and I said I hate it, but that's just my opinion. Sorry :(
This is my favorite of all the ones you posted. Love the top!
The top is so pretty! And I much prefer this bottom over the first one, the proportions are SO much better, even if it's not someone's style it is still a flattering dress.
I think you should get what you want for you wedding. I haven't followed your posts, but have you tried on gowns? Most times, what you think you want and what looks good are two completely different things. Go try some stuff on and see how you feel in it.
IMHO, I hate the dress. I'd never wear it, but that's me.
I really like the top, but the bottom is kind of ridiculous looking. Its too avante garde for a wedding, so unless you're marrying Alexander McQueen's heterosexual counterpart, you might want to try for something a bit more...simple.
Giving an opinion would be much easier if we could see pictures of you in the dress...You obviously seem drawn to the style of tight bodice and very very full skirt- so go with it if thats what you love!
Which dress did you have an emotional reaction to when you tried it on? Thats what you should concentrate on more.
Also, as another PP mentioned- do you mind having a very heavy skirt that may be uncomfortable walking around in?
Good luck Katie! :)
Hi Katiee, I really love this one, my favorite. The bodice is stunning really pretty. Do you have a front on pic of the dress? The skirt WOW I LOVE IT, I'm a bit of a princess bride too and this is gorgeous. Although I can see what the other girls are saying it does look like a doona, I just want to lie down in the skirt and fall asleep lol. I would follow the other girls suggestions and try as many of the dresses you have posted on and yeh post pictures of yourself in them, it will really help to see you in the dress. When I was dress shopping how I felt in the dress was really important. Keep as posted. :)
It's hard to see the bodice. I think looking at runway photos, which would be properly lit and taken from the front, might make it easier to see if we can't see pictures of you in these dresses.
this is absolutely STUNNING... my dress is similar to this one. i am completely in love with it.
THIS DRESS IS AMAZING.....who is the designer...I am looking for my dress right now and really want this one..it is everything I have been looking for. Please anyone let me know who the designer is ...thanks!
@katiee0707: I think it is beautiful but would probably be very difficult to move around in. Did you end up getting this dress? Do you have any 'real' pictures in it? :)

I'm really sorry for all the dress posts, i am having such a difficult time deciding what I like for such an important day, and I love hearing others opinions (good or bad) to help me decide. ONE more dress poll, I promise!! What does everyone think of this dress? But in white, not pink.
