While we’re on a roll…
Let’s say a psychopath kidnaps you and someone else (see the poll). Psychopath says he will kill the other victim if you do not allow him to chop off one of your limbs (you don’t know which limb he will choose).
What do you do?

@Pinkmoon: Hell yes I tell him to cut off anything he wants….and hope he takes an arm because having a tensile hook would kick ass!

@Nona99: Haha. Your best bet might be to punch him, then he’d be pissed and chop off the offending arm. Just don’t kick him.

I’d probably be willing to give up the back half of a Coke Zero that I opened a while ago and then forgot about. Not the front half, though — that’s the best part. So effervescent! That stranger can just die already!!

@iarebridezilla: lmfao. hilarious!
I’d give a limb to save a loved one. But I’d be mad as shit.

@QuirkySocialite: Haha me too. I’d remind them for the rest of their lives how they owe me. “Husband, you can do all the cooking/cleaning from now on since I donated my arm to save your life” haha. Something like that…

I’d do it. Tons of people live without limbs and are perfectly okay. In fact, I’d chop off all my limbs if it meant saving a immediate family member. And I’m sure they’d be so thankful that that they’d be my slave for the rest of my life. Obviously I’d like my left arm to go first, as it’s the most useless.. As long as my wedding ring isn’t on.

Well you don’t negotiate with psychopaths so I’m not sure how realistically that is. Perhaps slightly more realistically (?), if someone needed body parts to be grown from stem cells, but they need to be from a healthy limb of a matching donor. I get a phone call, saying I’m the only matching donor on the register. If I give my limb they live, If I don’t, they die.
Under those circumstances I’d donate for anyone. I think.
