My cousin texted me to let me know he booked his hotel for the wedding, and I asked him what he thought of the invitation suite. He hadn’t gotten his! I checked back with him last night, still nothing, so this means that 10 days after everyone else got theirs (including people out of state), that his never came.
Now I’m nervous that others are also missing. I don’t want to call everyone, especially since the RSVP deadline isn’t for another month. On the other hand, if I wait until then to call the stragglers, people might not be able to come and be upset about it.
The only thing keeping me sane is that we sent save-the-dates last summer, so everyone on our guest list (minus about ten add-ons) has at least heard about the wedding. But this still makes me so nervous! Any advice?

I would call just to make sure they got the invite. Explain that some people hadn’t gotten theirs and the RSVP wasn’t due yet but you did want to ensure they even got the invite to RSVP later!

@Mrs Hedgehog: Good advice!
@Miss OBG: I agree with Ms. Hedgehog, you don’t want this stressing you out in the few months you have left leading up to your big day. Better to get ahead of it, your guests shouldn’t mind 🙂

Do you have a wedding website that you included on the STDs? That could be a good place to make an announcement that some invitations were lost. Then, I would call the few add-ons who didnt receive a STD.

We had that happen too. The only one who didn’t get it was my sister, but it showed up 2 weeks later a bit mangled.
Send a quick email to a bunch of people to see who got theirs…that’s what I did, and she was the only one.
