Last night I was working on my homework for my history of Rock & Roll and 20th Century Popular Music and my SO heard my listening to Gangham Style (it was on our lecture online!) and he came in and did the dance for the entire song! I laughed so hard I cried!!!

@nattiejeanne: I think having a sense of humor is SO important in life and especially in marriage.
I also am married to a man who loves to have fun, and my husband is extremely quick-witted and funny. I love wordplay, and, although I’ve also always been quick-witted and funny, my DH is faster and funnier most of the time, since I tend to default to being serious quite a bit of the time.
Last night, as we were getting ready for bed, I asked if he was going to take out our dog, and he replied, “Yes. I was thinking Olive Garden, but I’m not sure if he’ll like Italian.” 🙂

@Brielle: Lol! That is the kind of thing my SO might say too. He really never ceases to amaze me with how much joy and laughter he can bring into my life. I’m a pretty sarcastic and quick witted person too, so we make a really entertaining pair. Never a dull moment at our house!
If we are fighting my favorite way to break the tension is just to act really weird until he can’t help but smile or laugh. If I can get him to crack a smile it’s pretty much all back to normal!

@nattiejeanne: Haha that’s awesome. My DH and I goof around with each other all the time too. Last night I called him when I was heading home, and he answered in french, and we ended up shouting french phrases at each other over speakerphone for 5 minutes in ridiculous accents!
And yeah, acting weird is definitely a good way to come back from a tense situation.

I think my favorite thing we do is hide on each other. Like when I get home first I will listen for his car (I can alway hear it when he turns onto our street) and I will go hide! I’ve gotten really good at this game and once he actually started freaking out that i was kidnapped or something because he really could’nt find me! When he hides he jumps out and scares the crap out of me. In fact he does that ALL of the time. Like if I am in the bedroom he’ll stand down the hall in the living room but with the light on so when I leave the room I will catch him standing there creepily out of the corner of my eye. Gets me every time!

Haha! My husband likes to hide under the blanket and pretend he’s a burrito. I have to ‘open the burrito’ to get to him. He’s such a goof, I love him so much.
