My fiance and I do a sort of a ritual at the end of the everyday and it’s starts with, “i love you because…” We tell each other one thing we appreciate about each other. Somedays it’s a bit more difficult than others but it’s helped me be more aware of the things he’s done for me.
Today he gave me a GREAT foot massage because I was feeling so cranky and stressed (PMS). I really appreciated the foot massage but I appreciated it even more because he did it without groaning about it. He just did it because he knew it would make me feel better. I love that man.
So what’s one thing you appreciate about your FI today?

He walked the dog for me this morning- in the 15 degree weather! While I layed in bed watching the morning news.

- Wedding: June 2010 - Indiana Memorial Union
He had the day off and still got up at 6:30 to make me eggs and feed the cat. 🙂

He never complains when my alarm wakes him up at 5:45am, even though he doesn’t have to go to work. I know it’s annoying to be the one in bed still. He always offers to turn the lights on, too, or help me find stuff in the dark. And he always snuggles with me a little in the morning….it’s so sweet =]
And he did 8 loads of laundry yesterday. And cleaned the kitchen. And swept the floors. I mean, really, the man does everything

He readily agreed to make an extra stop after work tonight to pick up some last minute wedding materials. And I got extra hugs this morning since we dropped the cat off last night and won’t see him for two and a half weeks and he knows I am pretty sad about it.

he let me quit my job! for weeks like this one when my migraines are going crazy, i get to lay on the couch, stress free and not be at an office sitting under the bright lights stressing out over stupid work stuff.

He did ALL his laundry Yesterday. I really am learning to appreciate that! & it’s funny but He TRIES to make the bed; it always still looks a wreak but he did this morning & I really appreciate that too (even if I secretly fix it later)!

One thing? Wow. Well the first thing tha tcomes to mind is the fact that I have someone special to spend the holidays with. Not that holidays weren’t special without him, it’s just so much nicer now.
I mean, he makes my life so much better every day by helping out with little things and big things without me asking.

He made me one of my favorite meals for lunch 🙂 I’m impatiently waiting for 12PM so I can eat it!

He has SUCH an amazing work ethic – He works his butt off at long hours, hasn’t had a day off in a month, is exhausted beyond belief, and is still cheerful and happy to go to work. He is amazing.

he lets me ramble endlessly and actually at least halfway listens. It’s amazing.

Today he is leaving, as he goes to visit his mom/dad every Christmas, and he told me that he is cleaning the ENTIRE house before he leaves! He does like to clean, so it’s not a horrible task for him, but it means tons to me, and will be fab to come home to a super clean house – including freshly washed flannel sheets! snuggly!
I also appreciate that when my alarm went off and I told him I decided to go in late today, he pulled me close and snuggled with me for an extra 1/2 hour. It was so nice!

My little Mini Cooper got stuck in the NYC snow and he helped me get it out using his brute strength to push the back while I floored it and wasted tons of gas. Also, he disposed of a mouse in the apartment last night. He’s my hero 🙂
