Hi everyone!!! I’ve used this site for wonderful ideas, suggestions and advice so I feel a certain sense of responsibility to let everyone in on one of the major problems I’ve had so far so it doesn’t happen to anyone else : (. Sorry in advance for how long my story is! I let my bridesmaids all select different dress in different neutral/blush shades and all of them chose to order from a bridal shop except my sister in law. Here’s where the disaster starts. She really wanted a dress with sleeves/thick straps; she’s got 2 girls (my flower girls!) who will be pulling on her all day so she wanted to be comfortable and found one online at JJ’s House which I’m sure you’ve all at least heard of if you’ve been looking for bridesmaid dresses online. She found a pretty dress in pearl pink and ordered it, great, she was the last one and I’m so excited all the Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses are done and coordinated.
So I get a text from my SIL asking me about a Jordan dress in mocha asking me if that would work. What? Where’s the JJ’s House dress? But I’m at work so I just write back that it’s great. I call her later to try to get the story out of her, which she grudgingly tells me because she was trying not to stress me out, that the dress came with a pull/snag right across the one breast, and had some small stain spots (all different places in different colors, gross!) and that they *insert gasp* won’t return it?!!! What?! She emailed them several times through their website return form with pictures and everything and called them.
They responded, ” As you know that the tailoring of a well-designed dress consists of many processes. These are all potential satin for the dress. Anyway, we should have found out and taken care of the problem before it can shipped out. We do apologize for that hope you can kindly wipe out the stain by yourself. You can pour some detergent into the water and then soak the polluted part in it for a while. Then it can be removed by some gentle hand washing.”
So now I’m upset and ask her to send me the pics and info and I’ll call and email also. So they finally offer her 25% off and then told me they’d do an extra 10% because of our inconvenience of having to fix the dress. The dress can’t be fixed though or worn in it’s current state!!! And because it’s an international company, that discount barely or doesn’t cover even just the shipping! It’s still a mess, and we’re trying to dispute through her credit card company now. : ( . Just wanted to sent out the warning to all the other bees, maybe you’ll get lucky ordering from them, but if not, be aware you will not get your money back.
The one below,, seams are frayed and coming out and a flaw in the fabric near there, and some kind of spots are on it

Thanks for the warning! I don’t think the pictures are showing up though, for some reason?

@MB3117: I can’t see the pictures.
I’m sorry you’re in this position 🙁 Either way, is there any way you can cancel the order?

They’ve just called my sister in law and refunded the dress after ones of my reviews on the internet was seen by their customer service! Wow! (I shouldn’t have had to taken it to borderline obsessed about getting her money back before that happened, but at least it’s over!) I was very slow at work today and very busy online getting out story out. And it’s probably because I uploaded them from my phone earlier that the pics didn’t show up! Sorry!! We ordered her a new dress from a bridal shop yesterday =) =) thanks for listening to my tirade!
