I hope your last week goes smoothly and is as stress free as possible!  I’m at the 20 day mark, which seems overwhelming!  FI and I have been visiting his family for the past week….and we won’t be back home until the 3rd.  I just feel like I’ll have so much to do in the last two weeks, but I’m trying not to stress about it too much.

Can’t wait to hear how your big day goes.  Make sure to post recaps and pics 🙂

Same here, one week!!!! I am working on all of the escort cards and programs, and finalizing the ceremony with the officiant. It’s all coming together. Still need to have final conversations with DJ, videographer and photographer. We are monitioring the weather hourly 🙂

Is it too late to get a facial on Monday??

@eLPeeseNanner:

I got 12 days to go, and am very nervous!!

So far, I bought everything….

I just need to:

  • send in itinerary & decoration instruction to the venue
  • write my seating board
  • pick up my dress
  • all up vendors (e.g. hair & makeup) to double check on time and payment with them
  • get a haircut
  • pack up for the honeymoon

Ahhhh, so nervous. I just went through the entire ceremony in my dream last night, and I was checking in my dream if everything was going well. Haha.

Getting very excited here … only 11 days to go!

I don’t have a whole lot left to do.  Wrap wedding party gifts,  confirm head count  for rehearsal dinner,  get haircut and manicure, print programs.   I’m taking most of next week off.

I have very little left to do. Meeting with the DJ this week. Need to get a last minute fitting done (little independent seamstress, so she can rush it no problem). Give the final head count. Work on my vows. Will try to wrap up everything by this weekend and then rest next week!

Hi ladies!

Yep final countdown here too. Left I have things booked like like my final hair colour, dance lesson, bikini wax etc.

On my to do list I have to contact the venue about a few final things, finalise my speech (I want to give one), sort out jewellery to wear and buy a couple of photo frames.

The thing that bugs me is when I look at the planner I ripped out of a magazine when we first were engaged, all the boxes are bascially ticked or have things sorted so that they will be ticked off in due course.

Is there anything I am missing? I am going to post this in another board and see if any newlyweds have any advice for any last minute things they overlooked or can suggest.

@ValleyGirl1979:

Good luck tomorrow!! Congrats!!

My wedding is on Monday, eek! I was insanely stressed out about a week ago, but I am doing okay now… just a relatively nasty weather forecast to worry about–low of 41! And raining! Florida, you better not give me that ish on my wedding day!!

For January brides whose weddings are a little further out, I had a gigantic to-do list for the 10 days or so leading up to the wedding, and it was stressing me out big time! FI and I took the to-do list and split it up to like 5-8 things to do per day, and that has helped so much! I feel way less overwhelmed. Hopefully that helps someone! 🙂
