Tell the people around you to hide any problems or drama from you on that day. Let them know you trust them to handle it. It will make everything so much easier.
RELAX. I know it is easier said than done. But don't sweat the small stuff. Not one single person will notice it besides you.
Don't fear rain. A rainy day + wonderful photographer = fabulously unique pics!
HAVE FUN!
hehe. I was prepared to buy a couple cute bubble umbrellas if the forecast called for rain on my wedding day!
I recently saw a pic from my photographer of a different wedding during a rainy day. It was a close up of the couple and I could literally see every rain drop crystal clear. It was a shockingly beautiful pic imo that could not have happened w/o rain.
There was another where the entire wedding party was crossing Fifth Avenue (during a red light!) so my photog took the chance to snap a pic of the party in a line across Fifth avenue with huge golf umbrellas. It was beautiful and unique!
Eat! It's really easy to forget, and you'll definitely want to keep your energy up. At our cocktail hour, I snagged a chicken satay skewer from a passing waiter, and he said, "Good for you! I'm impressed; most brides totally forget to enjoy the awesome food at their own weddings!"
As a PP said have all problems/drama hid from you and let others take care of. It is your day to relax. Don't sweat the little things. Try to relax, eat and enjoy yourself. It goes by so fast!

I can't believe how the time has flown, but I am not just 8 days away from our wedding! Anyone care to share any advice or words of wisdom that they wish someone had told them before their big day?
