Ok, so I have felt totally in control of everything. I am well organized, and don't have much left to do. I totally lost it last night after talking to my FI. We went over some rehearsal dinner/family dinner stuff with his parents, went over and finalized our ceremony "script". When it came time to pick out our first song dance and entrance song dance, my FI sat down on the couch in (what I consider) a huff and said 'I can't wait for this wedding stuff to be over'. That's when I got a little emotional. I've been trying my hardest not to make him have to make too many detail decisions, I try not to talk about wedding stuff too much, but apparently I have not succeeded. He said it's all I talk about, and he's just sick of it. I told him that the amount of time I think about the details/plan compared to how often I talk to him about it is way more.
We have a week left. These "details" have to be figured out. I've tried to get them checked off awhile ago, but they have not been on my FI's priority list, and I've dropped it (again, to not pressure him/only talk about wedding stuff).
Also, our friend who is in the wedding was over (prior to our fight) and I was confirming with him his outfit selection. I am not requiring suits and ties - nothing rented. I told the guys that they had to wear gray slacks, gray button down shirts, green ties (from links I provided), black dress shoes, and black suspenders. I sent out this email (with links for everything) back in June. I have sent follow up emails. The guy said his gray slacks were at the dry cleaners, and he was going to get his white shirt dry cleaned. I said, wait, what, a white shirt - no, it's supposed to be a gray shirt. Apparently he never read any of the emails I sent out. When later talking to my FI I said 'thank god I talked to him, otherwise he would have shown up in a white shirt'. My FI didn't think that would have been a big deal. WHAT!!???
So, now. I'm stressing. Not from anything I have to do, but from the lack of response, whatever you want to call it from the guys.
Anyone else fighting more this last week (or weeks)? How's your stress levels? lol.
