    Moms ! I need your help .

My SO and I need to buy a gift for his godsons 1st birthday  ... We have no idea what a one year old is really "into" or what might also help out his Mom & Dad .

The parents are pretty well off and "have everything" so I am wondering what would be a good idea to get his godson

    Any ideas ?!?!!

If they pretty much have everything that they need, then toys are the best option. Baby Einstein and Fisher Price are always good options. Or if he is the sentimental type he could start some kind of collection, like around here we have the Hess trucks. He could also get him stock every year. There are many options :)

I was hoping there was some popular item/ toy that is all the rage with one year olds ;)

Or something I should stay away from

The Leapfrog My Pal Scout/Violet are popular.  I got my neice a water table and bathtub toys that can be used with it for her 1st birthday.  It worked well since she has an older 3 yr old brother so they can both play with it.

blocks are always a good idea - kids love them, and they are GREAT for developing the mind in imaginary play, spacial awareness, etc.

We recently attended a one year olds birthday party.  We got him this trunk that shakes and makes noise...

It was a bit hit with the little boys.

Also, my friend (the mom) asked for these fridge toys, which are apparently all the rage...
