Any specific sellers? My husband is a little leery of quality from buying on eBay. I was looking last night and there are definitely some great deals on there!
VERY nice! But with hardware on close to 20 doors to replace they are def out of budget!
Okay, look up and architectural salvage place in your area. They'are awesome...they'll have buckets an buckets of door knobs, hinges, etc. They often need cleaning, but the prices are usually great.
"architectural salvage" is the google term. They are the places that take stuff that's coming up of old homes when they get rennovated. You can always find interesting hardware at those places.
If you want new things, see if your Habitat for Humanity runs a store. Ours sells everything from sinks to hardware to paint to furniture...much of it is brand new!
Also, places called "Second Chance" do the same with salvage, and it's a charitable organization. Maybe you have one in your area?
Thanks ladies! We actually have a bunch of salvage places around here that I actually plan to take a lot of stuff to and sell! hehe. But they tend to be more in the classic architectural items from the old city homes around here. Not really the style we're going for. I ended up finding a really cheap site to purchase our door hinges from and they have good reviews so I ordered them. We're just going with simple door knobs for the interior. From my research Lowes is just as cheap if not even cheaper than some online sites for Stanley/Schlage so we're just going ot get them from Lowes. When we get new exterior doors I'll likely splurge a little on the front entry door but that's it. We're doing pretty much a gut renovation so unfortunately door hardware is low on the totem pole of expenses!

Have you bought door hardware online recently?
Do you have a good site to recommend?
We're renovating and replacing all of our door hardware (knobs, hinges, stoppers, interior/exterior) so I'd rather buy online and in bulk to save $.
Found some sites already but looking to see if you have other recos!
Thanks!
