Just seeing if anyone has had any positive or negative online wedding dress experiences.  I'm considering getting mine online to try and save some dolla bills, but am still debating . . .

     Thanks for the help!

I bought mine yesterday online (a dress for my bridal portrait), sent in my measurements, and I will have it in 20-25 days, or so my chinese friend promised, haha! If you are interested, check back with me and I will let you know how it turned out! My friend ordered hers off Ebay also for about $100 and it looked AWESOME so I am a believer. You can always order it in for cheap and take a chance!

I ordered mine from an Ebay Chinese dressmaker and it turned out pretty good.  The waist was WAY too big, but the height is perfect.  There are a few loose strings and the straps were too long (but that one's my fault).  I would do it again as I only paid $200 for a gown that would have cost $600-900.  I did luck out on alterations and found someone to fix all the issues for $70.

Just make sure not to get anything too complicated, have a professional take your measurements and read their feedback!

I needed a 2nd dress to take on my honeymoon. We are going to the Papal audience as newlyweds and they ask that you wear your bridal clothes. I decided to get a 2nd dress and had a budget of $100 or less. I bought an isaac mizrahi wedding dress from target and I paid less than $50 and its beautiful. I need to have it tailored but I'm very happy with the results.

I got both my dresses from eBay for under $200 total and they turned out great.
