I’m not sure how they are with wedding dresses, but I just bought my flower girl’s dress from Light in the Box. It’s well made, the price was great, and it took less than 3 weeks to arrive. I have no complaints. Here’s the pic from the site – it came out identical to this.

If I don’t go the vintage route through Etsy, I’m probably going to go with either jjshouse.com or dhgate.com. I haven’t heard anything negative about either.

I just ordered a dress from good goods china….and what I received looked NOTHING like the photo. It’s well made and fits, but it just is not the look I want to go for AT ALL.

I ordered a second dress from there which, when it came was not the size I ordered (I needed it about 2x as big haha!)…but that dress was really beautifully made.

I honestly think it’s a bit of hit and miss…lucky I’m pretty relaxed about it all and still have time. The dresses are well made, but they take over 4 weeks and my advice would be to stick to a simple design.

A couple of friends have ordered bridesmaid dresses from jjshouse and they looked great, really well made.

@gonecrazy21:  hi, I used Fashionlande, you messaged me butI changed my profile name.

My dress was great, i think it was about 99% like the picture and I loved it. The fit was perfect too, no alterations needed, took about 7 weeks to arrive. The quality was awsome.

My wedding dress was perfect and i have not regretted buying from fashionlande.

But… I have since then bought a second dress for a work ball. I ordered a stunning tea length pink and cream aplique dress. But it was not a great match when i got it, it was probably only 50% like the picture, but still an absolutelystunning dress. It was full length, champaign colour with cheap flowers stitched all over it. Againit fit perfect and was really good quality but different to what I expected. Still love it though.

Also a friend of mine ordered a cocktail dress, it was lovely, but shr has a weird body shape with huge chest and small bum and no hips, they emailed her and said her measurements must be wronge, she said they were not, they made the dress and it fited her perfectly, but looked funny on her funny body shape. So if they email to say that yourmeasurements are weird then you probably should not get a dress from them.

But if you have a pretty normal shape (i dont mean skinny, but you know normal kinda proprtions) and you just want a really stunning dress and in white (they never get white wrong but seem to stuff up most other colours) and are willing to trade details (you wont lose on quality just some details are different – none of the dresses i have seen looked cheap) you will only pay about $200 and will be real happy?

Also another friend of mine bought her wedding dress and five bm dresses and they were all stunning and perfect fit.

If you are super super fussy, then dont bother.
