I bought my ring from a custom designer online and it’s insured through jewelers mutual. They cover it while in transit which is aweosme for going back and forth for repairs!

I have never had to make a claim with them yet but from the research I have done they are awesome. I have 0 deductible and it’s about 1% of your total ring cost a year to insure. They also cover loose stones while being set, mysterious loss, theft, damage…everything you can think of! Having it insured (esp while in transit) has made it so easy and worry free. It’s also less expensive to ship because I don’t have to add insurance through the post office.

My ring is a custom design from brilliance.com.  I  have it insured with USAA, my homeowners insurance.  I have a rider just for my ring.  Brilliance was wonderful to work with, and my diamond is gia certified.  I believe I can have it inspected and re-rhodium plated for free twice a year.

OakleyAce:  my rings are from a jewellers in england but i bought both online through their website. My rings are insured on my home insurance. The service i received when ordering, dispatching my rings each time and when i sent my ering for cleaning was great. Phone and email updates. Buying online meant i could get more for my money as i paid for quality but not insane high street mark up prices
