Online flowers - any recommendations?

Have any of you used online flower sites to order flowers to DIY bouquets/bouts/corsages/centerpieces? Do you recommend any that worked really well for you or that were most affordable for what you envisioned?

I'm thinking roses/calla lilies/some filler-type flowers. I haven't done a ton of research but I met with a couple florists today and I just wonder if DIY after ordering bulk flowers would be more effective - both cost and time-wise.

    Any tips/advice would be appreciated!

I've used http://www.usifloral.com for my wedding flowers. Their flowers are pretty cheap and some are realistic. For example, I've used natural touch orchids for my wedding bouquet. Althought the stem orchid is $21.99 for one, but they have tones of orchids on them. I was able to make a very nice centerpiece combining the green orchid with cream ranunculus flowers in a square glass vase. The arrangement in the pic below is what I'm trying to make.

If you go that route ask the vendor if you can buy a sample flower so you can see the quality and feel of it.  Then make sure to get all flowers at the same time so they should be from the same dye lot.  If you buy a few and a couple months later need to buy more they maybe different in color as dye lot would be different.  I once bought some red roses at Hobby Lobby and when I went back to get more a few weeks later they had went from a red with black undertone to red with a orange undertone!
