We have an online RSVP page. I don’t want to waste money on stamps people are just going to throw out. The options I’m considering are:
- Include a card instructing people to RSVP online or by phone
- Include paper RSVPs with no SASE
- Include paper RSVPs with an SASE for all guests
- Include a card for most guests, paper RSVPs for older guests who would expect it
With option 2, we will probably include stamps for the few people that we think would be offended if we don’t (basically those that are 60+ and non-computer users).

Oh. I would just print on the invitation “Please rSVP to [email protected]“

I had printed at the bottom of the invitation to RSVP at (insert web address) or by calling “Bride’s Mom’s name” at (her phone number).
No issue so far. We’ve got about 50% of the RSVPs, and still have about 2 weeks to go until the deadline.

I’m in a similar situation and I did a split solution. I printed RSVPs with SASE for about half of the invites, those go specifically to those less computer savvy, and/ or the older generation. Another 10 % or so with RSVP cards, which also have the link to the website, but no SASE. They will most likely RSVP on the website. Most of my friends/ FH friends won’t get RSVP inserts at all. I’ve sent most of my friends the link to the website already, and they have started to RSVP, even though the invites still aren’t mailed.
I’m not sure if that’s a workable solution for you, think about it.

I posted a similar thread a few days ago (here- http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/what-other-type-of-rsvp-to-pair-with-online-rsvp#axzz2dmB92RpN) and I’m going with your option #4.
If you do your option #3, barely anybody will rsvp online. #4 seems easiest for guests and least wasteful and still fits with wanting online rsvp primarily.

I think we’re just going to go with online/phone. My fiancee spoke to a friend who said that worked out fine for her.
