I got lunch from a little cafe today (sandwich & chips) and they always give you a cookie with it. Sometimes choc chip, sometimes sugar or whatever..
Today it was a tasty sugar cookie (very soft) with cinnamon on top. I am pleased with myself that I was able to resist the temptation and only take 2 small bites of it before tossing it in the trash!
I have started jogging again and am much more dedicated to losing weight and becoming healthier. I love sugar, so this was a challenge, but I’m proud that I didn’t give in.
Hopefully these small changes will add up to big results within the next couple of months.

Good for you!
Sugar is such a constant battle. If I go a week without having much, I’m fine and don’t crave it. But giving in (more than a few bites) means that I think about it more and more.
Stay strong – it must be a good feeling to know your willpower is high!

Good for you! I totally just ate 3 cookies for lunch! 🙂

Good job! I cannot throw out a cookie no matter what. No willpower!

Kudos! I probably would have eaten the cookie and chips and thrown the sandwich in the trash – you are so much stronger than I am!

Good for you! I would have devoured that cookie, the gone back and ordered another one!
The other day, I literally had to pour nasty sauce on my food to keep me from finishing it! No will power, I tell ya!

If I knew where you worked I would come get the rest…I could totally go for a cookie. You are a strong, strong woman!
Just opened a delivery to find mini-turtles, toffee, and popcorn as a client thank you. Oh boy…

Oooo we have those delicious cookies here. I don’t know why the cafeteria can make a crap-tastic piece of chicken but a delicious cookie.

Good job! That takes some serious restraint 🙂 I would’ve chomped down the whole thing.

@ JustLike – Your avatar cracks me up! Cupcakes are my ultimate demise.. if they were giving out cupcakes, I don’t know if it would have ended up in the trash lol.
@ lilyfaith – YES. It is SO great to know that I am REALLY trying now. Not just half-heartedly saying that I’m getting back on the wagon but actually doing it. I have a lot more energy too from the workouts! Running is the best workout ever 🙂
@ Goldilocks – the sandwich was awesome! It was just a basic ham & swiss on wheat bread but it was incredible. Much more filling than a cookie by itself!
@ Candy Nee – that is HILARIOUS about pouring nasty sauce on your food to keep from eating it! I totally understand that though because my alternative to that is to toss it in the trash before I can stick it back in my mouth!
@ lampshade – Mini-turtles?! OMG….so so good…
@ ejs – “crap-tastic” LOL. Yeah.. some cafeterias are really hit-and-miss. It’s like they used grandma’s recipe for one thing and swanson frozen food for the other..

Or copious amounts of mystery meat, Sysco buns, fat, and grease. Ours is notoriously bad.
