Today I and all the September 28th Brides are exactly 6 months away from becoming Mr & Mrs!!
I’m finally done with most of the big stresses and things are getting to just be happy and exciting….
How long till you and your FI tie the knot?
Does it continue to get easier as the date approaches for you or are you finding yourself starting to worry a bit more?

Hi, I’m a September 28, 2013 bride too!
My fiancée and I got engaged around Valentine’s day and decided to get married this year. We’ve done quite a bit so far! Now I’m waiting for my gown to come in and using the time to try and tone up. We still need to find entertainment, choose a cake design and order the bridesmaid dresses and flower girl dresses (hopefully next week!)
What do you have left on your list? Six months is coming up quickly!!

We’re tying the knot on the 28th too. We just got our invitations and Save the Dates on saturday. My bridesmaids also flew in to look at dresses this past week, which was awesome. We have been engaged since February 2012 though (our original date of 4/6/13 ended up having to be pushed back), but there’s still sooo much left to do. We have all of our major vendors, it’s just the details now. I’m starting to get pretty nervous, it seemed so far away and now I know 6 months is going to fly by!

@altbride2013 I’m nervous too!
We got engaged in October, but with the holidays we decided to put most of the planning on hold until 2013. So far I’ve found my dress, the venue, have an idea about rentals and catering but haven’t sealed the deal. We have hunted down all the vintage silver teapots for the centerpieces, have the website up and running, photographer booked and engagement photos done. My boss is going to be the officiant so I just have to get him ordained, we just shipped out our save the dates, and have designed but have to print and put together our DIY invitations…. everything else is still in the air, which leaves TONS eeeeks! I’m not going to lie, I’m starting to panic!
6 months flies by so quickly!
& @readytojet I almost forgot about entertainment! and both the FI and I work in the entertainment industry LOL I think we’re just going to have a few friends perform and DJ

@itsm0nique: what is your dress? i’m excited to know!

@aegis: still keeping that detail as secretive as possible but there’s lace and tulle and just a tiny tiny bit of bling. Im a subtle romantic nature kind of girl not super into glam and glitz so most everything will be soft colors, soft textures, and candle lights. The ceremony and reception are in a botanical garden. Have you picked your dress yet??
