my wedding is in october, and we will be going on the honeymoon right away.. we are going to Italy.!!!
@lawgirl12: We are going to St. Lucia, and we just made a payment on our honeymoon too! Though it was only about 1/3 of the initial payment we made!! We still owe the balance (I think its over $4K) sometime in Feb, but thats going on our interest-free credit card :)
Your cruise sounds really nice, what line are you going on?
ETA: we are getting married on Saturday, and leaving the following Wednesday (04 Apr) for 8 nights!
We are going to Punta Cana, although we didn't have to pay it off until later it's already all paid off.
We are going to the Grand Palladium Colonial in the mayan riviera!! It's all paid and i can't wait!!
We're going to Punta Cana but we're waiting until June when we're both on summer break from work. I'm kind of glad I don't have to worry about finding the rest of the money right now, our final payment isn't due until the week after the wedding and we'll have our tax returns by then to pay it off with.
We plan to go to Asia then Maldives. I got married in May 11 and finally got my 3 weeks off!!! So excited~!!
@youngliz:Nice!! We're doing our honeymoon immediately after because I'll be studying for the bar exam in the summer and won't have time for who knows how long otherwise!

Sandals Montego Bay! We're leaving the Thursday after our Saturday wedding:)
We are going to the Cook Islands and to Auckland, NZ and we're leaving the day after the wedding. EEEk!!! Our final balance is due within the next couple weeks :(

I was looking over reception tablescapes on the internet with my mom over Christmas, and she asked when our final cruise payment for the honeymoon was due. I logged on (this was Dec 18), and saw it was due Dec 27!! I started freaking out! My fiance was sound sleep at home ( I was visiting my parents) so I literally sent him 8 emails trying to figure out how to come up with $1000. He calls me at 8:00am, and goes, thanks for reminding me I just paid it. What!?! You're not freaking out I ask? Nope, he knew it was coming up. hahaha whew.
Where are all the March brides going for their honeymoon if you're taking one? Are you going right after your wedding? We're going on a cruise to San Juan PR, Grand Turk, St. Thomas, and Nassau the next day. We are not going to all those places the next day I should add. We're going on a cruise the next day
