well bees, since im a shoe goddess, i have absolutely NO self control when it comes to a gorgeous pair (or PAIRS) of wedding shoes! In a previous post, I shared my pic of badgely mischka's purple eavan pumps which i adore. Just recently, i stumbled across another one of her beautiful creations...fidel (by badgely mischka)

    What do you bees think???

Personally, I think I'd like them better if the rhinestones, instead of stopping at the back of the heel, continued wrapping around the shoe onto the toe.

*sigh* Those are gorgeous. I'm feeling bad about wearing my old red heels (that do match perfectly with my bolero) rather than using the excuse to buy new heels.... First fitting is tomorrow, there's no changing now!

tnx girls! they are about 4 inches (im only 4'11 so the higher the heel for me, the better!) suprisingly they arent as high as they look in the pic on the right i had to resize it and it kinda got distorted!

anyway- they are actually pretty comfortable if you can eblieve that. the heel is thicker than the othe pair i will be wearing and there is a built in platform so the slope doesnt seem as bad.

as far as catching on the dress, i was thinkign the same thing! luckily, where the rhinestone are, there is a flushed casing so when i put them on with my dress they dont pull. im gunna re-test it closer to the day and if so maybe just put some clear nail polish over the stones so that they dont pull anything. just a thought!

    ;)

Don't feel bad - I've ordered wayyyy too many pairs of shoes. Some I've kept even after I decided they weren't right for my wedding. I was looking for a jewel tone, preferably purple as that matches the other wedding colors best (chocolate brown and pale green). I was limited to 3.5" heels or smaller, preferably 3" or shorter, but that's tough to find anything cute!!!

I found these at Macys', they're a little sparkly on the toe, which you can't see in this pic... while cute, they don't have the pizazz I'm looking for...

I just ordered these beauties last night, they'll be in tomorrow so i can see which of them (if any) work best:

    @missjayellegee:

I'm confused at what you mean by "her beautiful creations", did someone DIY those for you?

i meant the designer's creations...badgely mischka. i love her shoe styles.

im sure you could try a DIY of something similar, although these were purchased this way! @M.Rud...thats a great idea to sparkle up a plain shoe. hope this pic helps! :)

I see. It was the pronoun "her" that threw me off, since Badgley Mischka is an American fashion label designed by Mark Badgley and James Mischka.

never realized the label was two designers names...thanks for the info!!!

for anyone else this may have confused...i meant "their" not "her" :)

@missjayellegee - I got the shoes in... I love both of them, but feel like I may be leaning toward the slingbacks, because the style really goes with the rest of my "look"... the pumps have a beautiful plum color that matches my ivory dress, but as a fellow bee said, they aren't as dressy, more like dressed up secretary shoes! Haha! But MAN, are they both comfortable!!! High recommendations for Grupo Menbur shoes! Check out the selection on www.endless.com!

@missjayellegee:  Those shoes are gorgeous!  I bought a pair of Badgley Mischkas for my wedding, and love them...

FYI, Badgley Mischka is not a "she"--it's the last names of two male designers who got together and formed a clothing design firm and branched into shoes and bags.

sigh. I love badgley mischka shoes sooo much, and the arch of the heel makes any girl's calves look AHmazing.
