First wedding, second wedding, whatever wedding you're on, I am sure many people have an oops moment (or at least I hope so, so I can feel better.)  Mine occured with the invites.  I ordered them early and saved money using vistaprint for the whole thing, so I was pretty proud of them.  My FI and I sat down one night, put them all together and used the printer to address them so they wouldn't take forever and we wouldn't be stalled by hand cramps.  It went well.  Shortly after the first response cards started returning and....SOB!!  It completely slipped our minds to add names to the response cards and some people decided NOT to put return addresses on the envelopes.  So far we have identified all 14 cards, but with many more on the way, I am slightly freaking out.  Some people have identified the problem for us, and put their names on the response card, but I know we will probably get a few from the same city  that are going to be a guessing game.  Ugh...at least I'll have some good advice when my friends get married.  I feel so dumb lol.  So, please tell me your moment, and make me feel better :)

I neglected to put return lables on the STD postcards. I thought--they're postcards...who needs a return lable. Welp, now we're not sure who received them and if any got lost in the mail...oh well.

I can't say this is as big since I'm not that far in the process, but in creating a portion of our invites, I ordered WAY too many, thinking of the number of people rather than the number of households.  I think I could have saved us about $50!!  I also could've fit way more information and I made a portion of the text the wrong color (not a big deal though) ... I was just like way too impatient ordering the stuff -_-**

My oops was a definite teary, ugly crying bride kind of moment.  My uncle in the Phillipines offered to print our invites for us.  I designed the whole suite - ceremony card, reception card, RSVP and map.  He sent them back to us and they were on cream not white paper but with spotty ink.  I cried over them because I felt sooooo bad that I didn't want to use them because he had done them for us as a gift!  I showed them to our event manager and she said "Our address is wrong."  Turns out I had put in the number 400 as a space saver until I got the actual address and after a million hours proofing it and sending it to other people they didn't catch it either.  The happy ending is a friend of ours got them printed for free on white paper with correct addresses. :)  I never did tell my mom that we didn't use her brother's invites.  Eek.

The other oops was I got these cute light wands for the kids and attached tags with their names on them.  But I forgot to write their table name on the back.  Oops.

Well, I don't feel so bad anymore!  Apprently invitations are a tricky business ;)

@elysion:  I did this too with my info cards and response cards.  We had a huge stack left and I was like, "Crap!".  Hahaha.  My FI was there and just rolled his eyes once he noticed it too.

    My opps moment!

Final payment to the wedding venue, I forgot to add the $1000 dollar ceremony fee! So we were $1000 dollars short when making our final payment!

I live an hour and half away from my venue, my soon to be MIL went and made the rest of the final payment for us since she lives 15 minutes away from teh venue, and we mailed her a check back for the amount needed.

    Oppppppsssss

    So far:

I ordered way too many invitations due to an excel mishap.

I forgot I needed a bouquet for my bridal portraits, and had to have one very hastily made.

my sister got married last year. My Mom forgot to attach the sash to the back of her dress. no one noticed until after the wedding was over! OOPS!\

In my Mom's defense, my sister's dress had BEAUTIFUL beading and lace. The sash was plain satin and covered so much of it, it was a shame to begin with LOL

Update on my oops moment...we currently only have one unknown invitation lol.  Once we are sure we have most of them in, we will try to narrow it down.  Fingers crossed we don't get any more.  Also...this isn't really an oops, just more of a crap!, moment.  Over the holidays my mom went with me to my fitting.  They were giving me several options for my $350 crystal belt, one of my few actual splurges, which was actually a splurge by my mom, because she offered to buy it for me.  We all came to the conclusion that it looked best attached to the dress without a hanging bow.  It would be sewn in with the ability to be detached and used again.  The seamstress cut the silk material off the ends of it right in front of me, and it felt like someone punched me in the gut.  I wonder if my mom felt the same lol.  Even though it was just the silk part, I was standing their thinking, "That's like $100 worth of that belt!" LOL.  It's still a little emotional for me hahaha.
