Well, ok, we didn't really forget. But NotFroofy was totally convinced that because this is my second wedding, and because most people are just coming to the reception back home rather than the ceremony, there was no point in registering. But the very first person to RSVP asked where we were registered. And I saw another friend this morning, and he said the first thing his wife was going to want to know was where we were registered.

So it looks like we are going to Target and BBB tomorrow, and trying to see whether we can learn how to use a scanner. Wish us luck!

Registering has been one of the most fun parts of the planning so far for me. ;) It's hard not to get carried away!

Nows a good time to register for things you'd like to upgrade. My fiance has lived in his house for almost 10 years but he has one toaster that you have to hold the button down while your toasting and another that is like from the 1960'3-it has a fabric covered cord! His blender broke last summer when I was making margarita's. Our microwave is on it's last leg. I lived with my dad so I didn't have much to offer. So we are mostly registering for stuff that we have but needs upgraded.

Yeah, I've lived in this house nearly 30 years, and there are some things that could really use upgrading.  I asked NotFroofy today, "So, do you think we could register for a new screen door, to replace the one that has been broken for years and we've never gotten around to replacing?"  I'm sure we'll think of other stuff.

Have fun!  I bet you'll come up with all sorts of fun things.  I can't wait either!  I'm going to love it, but FI is not going to be too happy about it, I bet.  Maybe I'll go do a scouting trip first with a friend.

We didn't register. I don't know why ... we actually should just for fun. We just never got around to it. Part of me felt weird having a list of things I wish for ... the other part wants to do it just for the great deals you get for registering!

P.S. Not one person has mentioned anything about us being registered!
