Four weeks from right now I will be a married woman drinking it up at my reception 🙂 I’m stress free at the moment with just a few minor details left. I am going shopping this week for things to put in my Out of Town bags- what did everybody put in theirs?

Where is the wedding being held? That would determine a lot of what to put inside! 🙂

We are putting a whole bunch of things that are meaningful to us: fudge from the place ive been getting fudge from since I was a baby, some snacks from FI’s home country, brownies from our most favorite bakery in the town we currently live in (they customized a label for us), cookies that we love from Hawaii, and then a whole bunch of other stuff (water bottles, tylenols etc…practical stuff). We tried to put things in that were personal to us.

@yellowismyfavoritecolor: We aren’t planning on putting anything in thats considered “unique to our area” except for chocolates from my moms chocolate shop. I’m looking for more practical things that are relatively standard. I’ve been to tons of weddings in the last 2 years but am of course drawing a blank aside from water bottles and gum LOL.

We didn’t do one, but I’ve seen them with snacks, candies/gum, medicines, water, cheap activities (especially if there will be kids)…

Ok, gotcha. Well, I’d certainly suggest putting some snacks in there (bags of chips, pretzels, cookies, crackers, etc). You can’t really go wrong with food!
tea packets or individual coffe packets (Via or whatever it’s called from Starbucks?)
a travel mug.
list of things to do in the area
taxi cab numbers
list of important numbers (bride, groom, reception happ, etc)
postcard of area
coloring book/crayons for little kids
travel sized meds (aspirin, antacid)
…this is all I can think of off the top of my head!
