Ok.. i feel so dumb. What are you supposed to put in OOT bags?? Pretty much everyone who is going to be at my wedding will be travelling ATLEAST 2 hours to get there, so should I do the bags?
Again.. i feel really stupid not knowing about these, ive seen them at hotels and stuff, but never seen inside!

For ours we put a bunch of different snacks, a free map of the area that our wedding was and a guide of the area as well that had restaruants, attractions, etc. I also got free tickets from my work to put in the gift bags so people could visit the Aquarium during the weekend of the wedding. Some people put alot of stuff that is local to where you are having your wedding, different types of food or drinks.

Don’t feel dumb! This is the perfect place to ask these kinds of questions!
Think about what you might want if you’ve traveled a few hours and just arrived to your hotel room. And think about what you might want, as a guest, after the wedding. I included water, gatorade, snacks (chips, candy, mints, cookies, etc), a welcome letter, map of the area, list of events going on, etc etc.
You should take a look at the OOT bag wiki- there’s a lot of good ideas there:

I just wanted to second BeachBrideT’s suggestion of the wiki… and say how cool it is that you’re getting married in South Africa! That sounds to exotic!

Well im originally from South Africa and all of my family is still there besides for my sisters and parents. Its a beautiful place, and I figured since my FI proposed to me there, we should get married there too 🙂

water, tissues, little tylenol packs, snacks (granola bars or munchies), hand sanitizer, a card with ICE numbers (moh, mob, bm, doc, reception venue), maps, depending on your situation – subway schedules, cab numbers or other transportation info.
