First, I have to apologize… I know there are tons of oot bag posts but I can’t seem to find any of them for advice, so I just thought I’d get another conversation started.
I’ve been trying to come up with a list of items to include for Out of Town bags for our hotel guests for our January wedding. Can anyone who has experience with this help out with some details? I know this seems so easy to figure out, and I thought it would be, but I’m having a hard time coming up with things besides your basic items like bottled water, travel aspirin, etc.
Anyone have any advice on things that are unique and out of the ordinary?
Thanks in advance!

If you are having the wedding in WI and people are coming from out of state, why not some local flavor? I’m thinking cheese… mmmm… cheese curds specifically, but I don’t think they’ll last in the bag. Otherwise, small snacks, maybe something in the activity realm like a puzzle or toy, and then maybe something about the area with a list of things to do.

Hi! I’m a January 2 bride. My Out of Town boxes (gable boxes) include:
2 black mugs ($0.59 each, Ikea)
2 packets hot cocoa
2 packets apple cider
Homemade cookies & brownies
A picture of us with “thanks for coming!” photoshopped on top
A Map with directions to venue
A packet of Advil with a note: “For those of you who end up indulging”
2 mini waterbottles with our own labels
I think that’s it?? I need to stop eventually!!! LOL 🙂
Hope this helps!
