When you said brads, I immediately thought of paper cut into shapes and connected with a brad. That could be really cute if you have a shape idea and your text would fit. It would be pretty easy if you have access to a die-cut machine, or it could be too much work if you don't or if you need to make a bunch of them.
You could also consider making a booklet with smaller pieces of paper (maybe cut a full size sheet into quarters), which would be handy if people would toss it in their purses to carry the maps with them. That way, it's unique and eye-catching but less work for you.
How about affixing them together with eyelets? I love that look -- pulled together and neat, but also fun and colorful!
Viola! I transferred the info to publisher - and then decided to sew them with a zig-zag stitch. Super excited to post about my first real diy ish thing.
I'm happy to share the template - is there a section on weddingbee to post templates?
Would you be willing to share what you wrote on your welcome letter part? I am just writing mine and don't know where to begin!
Thanks!

Sorry, there are no users yet.
I have 4 pages (currently on ppt- but I could move to word or publisher)- of a OOT insert:
Welcome, Eat, Drink, Be Merry Suggestions
Local maps
Schedule
Favorite Philly/Love Quotes
I could just print double-sided on nice quality printer paper and roll up/tie. But there has to be a more creative way.... booklet? brads? hmmmm
