    I voted for the skirt suit. To me, job interview = suit. It’s better to be overdressed than under.

    Good luck!!

    @Mrs.DBee:  I agree completely.

    Unless you’re 100% sure that the suit would hurt your chances in some way, you should always err on the side of overdressed.

    I agree overdress with the skirt suit.

    I agree that it’s better to be over-dressed than under, but since you have the option of pairing the skirt with a dress shirt without the jacket, why don’t you do that? I think it would look best, and convey the right amount of formality.

    I voted for the suit because it’s always better to be overdressed. If you think that’s way too formal for the industry or something the shirt and skirt would be ok but khakis are too casual for an interview.

    I JUST did a post about this on my blog today (under my profile page).

    Khakis are too casual anywhere you inteview. It is better to be overdressed and conservative. If you wear that dress put a cardigan over it.

    @MmeSilverBullet:  I would wear the jacket. If you get hot or feel overdressed you can take it off.

    Interview = suit, IMO.  So go with the skirt suit!
